If you have ever wondered what lies behind the impressive Georgian façade of Eaton House The Manor on Clapham Common Northside and have a young child, a baby on the way or a desire to investigate independent education for an older child in State education come to their all schools’ Open Day on Saturday 7 February, from 9.15am to 12.15pm.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
Eaton House Schools offer an extraordinary education for the children that come here. In 2025, some 40 scholarships and awards were offered to pupils at Eaton House The Manor Prep School and Eaton House The Manor Girls’ School. They include the King’s Scholarship Westminster School, the John Colet Scholarship St Paul’s School for boys and the Brighton College Millennium Scholarship.
The overriding aim is to help every single child to shine and maximise their talents in their exciting and dynamic educational journey. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT ON THE DAY?
After a warm welcome by ‘Manor Meerkat’ on the door, you will be able to meet Mrs Alison Fleming, the new Principal, all the Heads, and some of the wonderful, cheerful and confident children that they teach.
Attendees will come into the theatre and after a brief introduction will head out on a tour accompanied by staff and pupils. The pupils will be able to tell you their authentic experience of studying at Eaton House The Manor and their own personal journey – each one will be different! Parents will be able to see some samples of the children’s work as they look around and the Nursery will be available to view as it is a lovely setting for our earliest learners. Parents will be able to see the library and there will be various performances on show from the different departments in music and drama, with some of the best school art on show.
Once the hour comes to an end they will offer refreshments and can answer any follow-up questions.
