Broomwood, one of the leading schools in Clapham, is delighted to announce plans to expand its Pre-Prep with the opening of a third Pre-School (Nursery) classroom from September 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for the school’s early years provision.
Responding to growing demand for places at Little Broomwood, the expansion will allow the school to welcome more families while maintaining the purposeful, tailored education and close-knit environment for which it is known.

The expansion comes at a particularly exciting time for Broomwood, which was recently included in Talk Education’s prestigious 250 guide, a recognition of schools that stand out for the all-round quality of their education.
The school’s Pre-Prep was also highly praised in its latest Independent Schools Inspectorate report, which highlighted the strength of its early years provision. Inspectors also noted that: ‘Children become articulate and confident communicators as they share their ideas in lessons, support and encourage each other and listen well to what each other has to say.
‘Children feel secure in their environment as a result of the caring relationships and positive attitudes modelled by staff.’
