Helping Children Thrive in Clapham
Nestled in the heart of Clapham and Marylebone, The Children’s Place has been offering a warm and welcoming space where children and families have felt supported from the very first little one in 2012. They provide specialist speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and applied behaviour analysis support for children from 12 months to 18 years of age, always individualizing therapy for each child and their family.
At the centre of their approach is the Heart of TCP:
Tailor Made means taking time to truly understand each child’s strengths, areas of difficulty, and way of learning. Therapy at The Children’s Place is shaped around real life and designed to support children with communication, sensory processing, motor skills, emotional regulation, behaviour, independence, and social development. When they meet each family, they think about the individual child and family to understand how to best support them on their journey.
Their support extends beyond individual clinic sessions. The Children’s Place runs therapy groups throughout the year during half terms, and school holidays, collaborates with many independent schools across London and supports Local Authorities in delivering little one’s EHCP provisions. Their team of therapists work closely with SENCos, teachers, and support staff, including contributing to joint EHCP targets and providing support within educational settings. This means families benefit from a team that understands how to provide support across the wider systems surrounding a child.
Their Think Different mindset allows them to think outside the box, leading to many different avenues and ways of supporting each and every little one. By blending knowledge from SLT, OT, and ABA, their team creates meaningful sessions that meet your little one exactly where they are.
At The Children’s Place, Families Matter. Parents and carers are included throughout the process and supported with practical strategies, shared goals, and guidance that can carry over into everyday life. Therapy is available in the clinic, at home, and in nurseries and schools, helping little ones build skills in the environments where they learn, play, and grow. Families know their child best, and The Children’s Place team works in partnership with them to create a strong circle of support.

Details Matter. From carefully planned sessions, they believe the little things make the big difference and the little moments lead to the big growth.
And through it all, they Believe in Smiles. From meaningful relationships with little ones’ and their families to discovering the little ones’ favorite interests, their focus is creating an environment where the children feel happy, supported and ready to grow.
For Clapham families looking for compassionate, professional support, The Children’s Place offers a trusted local option where every little one and their family is valued and every step forward is celebrated.
