At Belleville Wix Academy (BWA) children thrive in a warm, ambitious and welcoming school community where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential and develop a lifelong love of learning. BWA is proud of its unique bicultural ethos, offering both an English stream and a bilingual English-French stream from Reception to Year 6, alongside an English-speaking Nursery.

Belleville Wix Academy is part of the Quality First Education Trust, a multi-academy primary school trust. They believe in doing ‘whatever it takes’ to help every child succeed.

Children at BWA benefit from an exciting and well-rounded education. Alongside excellent teaching in English, maths, science and the wider curriculum, pupils enjoy specialist lessons in PE, music and modern foreign languages, as well as a rich programme of trips, clubs and enrichment opportunities. The school’s LEARN approach helps children grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally, building the confidence and resilience they need for the future.

Pupils leave Year 6 well prepared for the next stage of their education, going onto Ark Bolingbroke Academy, as a feeder school, the Lycée Charles de Gaulle, and a wide range of state and independent schools.

Beyond the classroom, BWA offers extensive wraparound care from 7.30am to 6pm, as well as a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, trips and events. The school is also proud to have achieved the Gold School Games Mark for its commitment to sport and physical education.

Whether your child joins in Nursery, Reception or later in their primary school journey, the experienced team works closely with families to help children settle quickly and feel at home.
