Winter Light Trail at Vauxhall City Farm
On the 30th November the Vauxhall Farm garden, with amazing support from Vauxhall One, will be transformed into a twinkling Winter Light Trail thanks to the exuberant Johnny Vaughan of 4til7 Thang at Radio X, and the Pearly Kings and Queens who will be pushing the button to turn the cold darkness into mesmerising light. This will be accompanied by Lambeth Music Service ‘Holst’; group of talented strings players creating the perfect ambience as you meander through the lights.
Dates: 30th November – Switch on day, free entry with a suggested donation on arrival. Tickets must be reserved online. 1st – 22nd December (excluding Mondays)

Winter Nights at Battersea Park Zoo
For three exclusive evenings, the zoo will open its doors after dark for a seasonal event to delight animal lovers of all ages. Visitors will see how the zoo’s residents prepare for bedtime and observe their nocturnal habitats. There will be new exclusive special keeper talks by lantern light revealing fascinating facts about the zoo’s animals and their winter routines, as well as the chance to meet and greet the friendly farm animals.
To add to the Winter Nights’ ambiance, each night will feature live bandstand performances that range from choirs and classical quartets to contemporary soloists. There will be plenty of opportunities to sing along to carols and festive tunes.
