In the current era, where pace and pressure define much of daily life, fostering emotional intelligence and resilience in students is paramount. Our Mindful Connection Club recognise the transformative power of mindfulness in enhancing Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). By seamlessly integrating mindful moments into students’ routines, they aim to equip them with the tools needed for personal and academic success.

Joanne Lo is an education consultant with 20 years of experience, specialising in mindfulness-based social and emotional learning. She is passionate about providing tools and strategies to help the next generation become emotionally secure and healthy adults. A former headteacher, Joanne has global experience in Hong Kong, Toronto, New York, and London. She is also the co-founder of Our Mindful Connection Club in London, where she continues to innovate in mindful education practices.

Parin holds a Diploma in Child Counselling, an Advanced Diploma in the Therapeutic & Educational Application of the Arts from the Institute of Arts in Therapy & Education (IATE) in London, and a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from UCLA, alongside a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai.
Passionate about empowering children, Parin is dedicated to helping them develop confidence, self-awareness, and emotional resilience, enabling them to overcome challenges and grow into well-rounded individuals.

Establishing a Mindful Culture
