The Strings Club’s award-winning Holiday Camps return to Balham this May Half Term, offering an unforgettable experience for children aged 4–11. Recently described as “not just childcare”, The Strings Club combines music, creativity, and adventure to give children the best school holidays yet!
Fresh off receiving a prestigious “Platinum” award for their exceptional service and top-tier venues across the UK, The Strings Club is excited to deliver a jam-packed week full of fun, friendship, and learning.
Each day begins with inspiring music sessions in guitar, violin, or ukulele, led by passionate and friendly string teachers. Children receive free instrument hire to take home and continue their musical journey!
In the afternoons, children explore themed creative workshops, tailored to the theme of the week: Our Favourite Authors.
For ages 4–7:
- Create Paddington-themed postcards filled with colour and messages to Aunt Lucy.
- Embark on a sensory adventure in a We’re Going on a Bear Hunt storytelling game.
- Craft beautiful dreamcatchers inspired by The BFG to hang by their beds.
For ages 8–11:
- Match music to book characters by creating personal playlists.
- Take on Percy Jackson-inspired demigod trials and Camp Half-Blood challenges.
- Design maps of magical fantasy worlds filled with creatures, kingdoms, and adventures.
