Keswick House Nursery (@keswick_house_nursery) in Putney will be hosting another free dedicated Primary Schools’ Fair on Thursday 8th May, 6pm to 8pm.

Heads and senior leadership teams from leading South-West London schools will be attending, including The Roche School, Wimbledon Prep School, Putney High School, Wimbledon High School, Merlin, Ibstock, Rowans, Fulham Pre-Prep School and many more.

It will be an enjoyable, informative event where leading local schools will come under one roof to give you an insight into their school community and talk about their admissions process.

Postcards from Sweden 🇸🇪

We spent a few days in this fabulous city- we started at 20 degrees 😎 and it got to -4 on Saturday with a tiny bit of snow ❄️ too! But cold or warm, there was plenty of sunshine ☀️.

The city surprised me - I didn’t expect it to be crowded, with such a vibrant restaurant scene with so many choices and variety in cuisine. There is a cafe on every corner and they are open till late. I fell in love with fika- time for something sweet and coffee. The coffees were amazing and there was so much choice of delicious pastries. The cardamom buns were amazing 🤩!

Back home to some sunshine here and mountains of laundry!

Beegu, a new adaptation of Alexis Deacon’s beloved children’s book will bring a charming story to life for audiences aged 3-7, exploring themes of friendship, respect, and the importance of inclusion.

Beegu tells the story of a little alien who finds herself stranded on Earth after her spaceship crashes. Despite her friendly nature, she struggles to connect with the Earth People, who seem less than welcoming but Beegu’s journey of discovery reveals that perhaps the little people of Earth might offer the companionship she so desperately seeks.

We were invited to the press preview and my little one was so excited; she had read it this term in school. The show is heartwarming and the children will be attracted to the set designs. This is a perfect introduction to theatre for little ones!

🥚 The Big Egg Hunt 🥚

Around London, there are now 100 decorated large-scale eggs designed by renowned artists and designers @elephantfamily .
From 24th March to 27th April, 2025, everyone is invited to find the scattered 2ft egg sculptures as part of a free-to-view trail across iconic locations and landmarks. From historic neighbourhoods like Chelsea, Canary Wharf, Covent Garden and Marble Arch.

You can tick them off on your free app (Big Egg Hunt) that can be downloaded on iOS and Google Play. We found 26/120 between Covent Garden and Sloane Square, and are hoping to get to 50 over the Easter holidays 🤞🏼.

You’ll also be able to access the silent auction site where the public can bid to buy the eggs, with money raised going to support Elephant Family’s vital conservation work to protect habitats and wildlife in South Asia.
