FieldGoods: your new favourite homemade ready meals

If you haven’t heard of FieldGoods, then you’ve just discovered a local gem, and life-saver. FieldGoods make delicious, sustainable frozen ready meals. From their kitchen in Wimbledon, they deliver ‘Bundles’ of these homemade meals nationwide. No time? No problem. All you need to do is turn on the oven, heat and serve. They also do everything possible to ensure a sustainable supply chain, from the renewable energy they use to the local suppliers, including the excellent Moxon’s.

Most importantly, they pride themselves on their food. With multiple Great Taste awards and 4.7 stars on Trustpilot, the proof is in the dishes themselves. With a menu including classics like Beef Bourguignon and Chicken & Leek Pie, they also extend to slightly spicier numbers like their Lamb Tagine and Spanish Chicken, Chorizo & Butter Beans. The vision is simple, to recreate the sort of food you’d love to make in your own kitchen, but don’t have the time or energy for. They believe in using real ingredients, not junk and additives. Plus they introduce new, seasonal dishes three times a year so you’ll never have enough of their range.

So how did it all come about? Well, FieldGoods was founded by two food-obsessed brothers, Elliot and Sam. They were lucky enough to grow up in a family that loved cooking, food and family meals. Being around the dinner table together was a key part of their childhood, their Mum and Grandmother being a core inspiration and who taught them to cook. With FieldGoods, they want to make that same experience possible for as many people as they can. They bring their schoolboy style brotherly teasing to everything they do, having fun while always prioritising the best possible food.

You may have spotted Elliot on the 2016 series of The Island with Bear Grylls – of course, he brought his chef skills with him. Prior to FieldGoods, Elliot and Sam actually had a separate business selling gourmet kebabs – BABEK – which you may have seen on Clapham Common pre-COVID. The pandemic forced them to close, but fortunately for everyone else it prompted the launch of FieldGoods, when during lockdown they had the opportunity to rethink, cook and serve the needs of the people around them.

FieldGoods is structured around ordering ready meals in ‘Bundles’ which can be delivered in single or double portions. As a customer, you choose the meals you’d like in your Bundle, with the option to add delicious side dishes like their bestselling Hasselback Potatoes, or even puddings – we’re talking about the aptly named Melt-in-the-Middle Chocolate Brownie.

You can try bundles as a one-off or via a subscription, which can be edited and delivered at whatever frequency you need. Their gift cards also make a wonderful gesture for any new Mums out there.

FieldGoods are delighted to be able to offer an exclusive 10% off for Clapham Mums, simply use the code MUMS10 at the checkout and the amount will be deducted from your basket. They also offer free next day delivery as standard.

PS – have a look at the Instagram competition  we’ve just launched to win a free FieldGoods bundle. Good luck!
