Autumn Term Activity Guide 2023


We have created a list of classes that are for babies, toddlers, and older children. We have everything from sports to art and craft, coding to dance, and everything in between! Please check the website for exact dates.

All Star Tennis

Fresh off the back of amazing summer camps, All Star Tennis Junior Clubs get underway from September 4th across 6 lovely locations in Wandsworth. They offer weekly classes from toddlers to teens, which incorporate the fun elements from the camps into lessons that aim to develop and progress your game. Clubs are suitable for all levels, with groupings depending on age and ability.

Age: 3 to teens

Date: September 4th – October 20th for afterschool clubs, September 9th – December 9th for Saturday Clubs

Angel Swim London

Angel Swim run private swim lessons for babies and children with small classes of 4:1 and 2:1 in warm, private swimming pools 30 – 32 degrees with incredible, experienced instructors.

Art- K Clapham and Art-K Wandsworth

Art-K Clapham and Wandsworth provide weekly art classes for children ages 6-16 and adults, running throughout the Autumn term, which begins on the 4th of September 2022. They explore materials such as clay, water colour paints, acrylic paints, oil pastels, soft pastels and sketching pencils through a mixture of 2D and 3D projects

Gluegang, your destination for weekly art classes, exclusively for 4-6 year olds in SW London, starting on the 20th September!

Multi award winning immersive, sensory music classes for the little folk and their grown ups! Filled with original music, sensory lighting and textures, massage, dress up and role play. Classes for Newborn-4 years old iat Clapham methodist Church, Battersea My gym and Fresh Ground Church.

Jigsaw Arts

Jigsaw Arts has been providing fun, confidence building performing arts classes for children for over 25 years, and this Autumn their sessions are starting in Battersea.

Age: 3-18 years

    • 3 – 4 years : 9.30am – 11.00am
    • 5 – 6 years : 11:30am – 1.00pm
    • 7 – 18 years : 10.00am – 1.00pm

Julian Cousins Sports – Read Clapham Mums article

Julian Cousins offers a comprehensive range of tennis coaching for all ages and abilities at his base in Clapham Common.

Lavender Leonardos Children’s Art School

Lavender Leonardos is a small independent, children’s art studio set in a unique creative space in Battersea. Our mission is to teach and inspire children and adults of all levels of experience, in a fun and friendly environment. They offer in person and online art classes with sessions aimed at 6yrs+, 9yrs+ & 13yrs+, in addition to 1:1 tuition, birthday parties and printmaking.

Open Air Fit

Saturday Football for kids age 2-12

Led by popular former professional player Mel Capleton, high level football coaching expertise is used to develop the skill and technique of each child, aimed at working on mobility, fitness, technical ability, strategy and social skills.  Every week, children play small-sided games so they all have the opportunity to get plenty of touches of the ball as well as helping them to become more comfortable and improve their skills – vital to a child’s development and growing confidence. For children age 2 12 and are split into age appropriate groups.

Location: Wandsworth Common in the Dog Free Zone opposite the Skylark Cafe

Dates and Times: 02 September – 16 December (15 weeks) from 10:30 am to 11:30 am

Cost: £157.50 for the term (plus 10% sibling discount) or you can book individual tickets weekly @£12.00 per session


After School Football with Open Air Fit

After school football for children in Reception through to Year Four led by popular former professional player Mel Capleton. The session will involve learning new skills, practising drills and finishing with a game.

Location: Dog Free Zone, Clapham Common West Side next to the tennis courts, top of Thurleigh Road, SW4 9AN

Dates and Times: Monday 18th September – 27th November (10 weeks) from 04:00 pm

Cost:  £110 for the term


Goalkeeping Sessions for children age 8+
45 minute sessions run by former professional goalkeeper, Mel Capleton.  In these sessions the children will be working on speed, agility, quickness, ball handling, quick feet, positioning and how we put those together in a game situation.

Location: Wandsworth Common, off Bolingbroke Grove, top of Honeywell Road

Dates and Times: Thursday 14th September – 7th December from 05:30 pm

Cost:  £156 for the term




Playball classes are a fun and exciting way to introduce your child to the world of sports. Their age-appropriate programs ensure a competent foundation in all the popular sports played at school, with a “multi-activity” approach that keeps kids engaged and excited! Join the fun this summer and watch your little ones develop their sports skills in a constructive and enjoyable way.

Age: 18 months to 8 years



PSSA London

PSSA (Pop School & Stage Academy) provides exciting performing arts training for stage and screen. Children rotate around Dancing, Singing and Acting classes with passionate performers who know how to bring the best out of every child. This term every child will record vocals and star in a Pop Video, enjoy the annual Halloween Workshop week and perform in a Christmas Showcase. PSSA also have an affiliated talent agency for children within to pursue professional work.

PSSA is now Ofsted registered and accepting Tax Free Childcare Vouchers.

Age: children aged 6-16 years

Robot Reg

Classes are fun and active with lots of music, singing and activities based on a letter sound a week with a good dose of silliness and bubbles. Minis classes are jam packed fun focusing on speech and language development and the Preschool classes are just as much fun but also have the advantage of giving your little one a boost when they start school!

Sparks youth film school offers engaging filmmaking, animation and photography classes for ages 7-18. They love to develop creative talents, both on and off camera.

Stagecoach Putney

Stagecoach Putney- confidence building through performing arts training. Friday & Saturday classes in singing, dance and drama for 4- 18 year olds. New term starts 22nd, 23rd & 27th September, 2 week trials available – OFSTED registered
