Holistic Body Focus offers creative and engaging Pilates mat classes in beautiful venues across Clapham, with just the right balance of challenging strength work matched with much needed mindful stretch and release.


Holistic Body Focus was set up by Hannah Brown. Hannah trained as a dancer and found Pilates to be an integral part of her training, helping her to improve her technique and maximise her potential. As she sustained various injures along the way, she experienced the value of rehabilitative Pilates which helped her to not only return to full strength but to become even stronger!


Her belief and commitment to Pilates prompted her desire to teach others and to further her knowledge and understanding of the practice. She qualified as a Fully Comprehensive Pilates teacher with the Pilates Foundation in 2011 and has since been teaching extensively in studios in London and Surrey. More recently Hannah has qualified as a pre and postnatal specialist and offers classes for pregnancy and women in the postnatal phase.


The repertoire of Pilates based exercises is vast and allows for classes with plenty of variety.  With other influences such as Yoga and Gyrotonics, Hannah prides herself on offering classes that are different each week, tailoring them to who she has on the mat in front of her; offering a person centred approach.

Holistic Body Focus Pilates classes help to tackle how daily life, routine, habit and stress can manifest themselves in how we hold our bodies; undoing this negative impact with mindful movement and with the aim to move efficiently and with grace.


By moving in a safe and measured way, moving in all planes and moving all parts of the body, helps to restore balance in the tissues, ease pain and most importantly give you body confidence.

Whether you are looking for help to rehabilitate an injury or from surgery, take care of your body postnatally, to live well with a chronic or degenerative condition such as osteoarthritis, to enhance performance in sporting activities or for general fitness and well-being, these Pilates classes aim to reward you, helping you get the most out of your body and ultimately ENJOY MOVING!
