Nadia Raafat is an experienced independent yoga teacher who has been teaching the residents of Battersea and Clapham yoga for 13 years.
Nadia runs beginners classes, open classes and intermediate level classes. She teaches a very mindful style of hatha flow yoga. Classes are geared toward developing a strong physical practice, with lots of guidance and tuition on the postures themselves, alignment and the mechanics of the practice. The focus of Nadia’s yoga classes however is in leading you to mental stillness, presence and increased self-awareness – the true goal of the yoga pathway.
Nadia is also a pregnancy specialist, childbirth educator and birth doula. She is the creator, producer and features in Yoga and Mindfulness for Pregnancy and Birth: a 5 class DVD (and soon to be online) programme for Pregnancy.
