MAMA.codes is on a mission to start all young children on their coding journey and give every young child the confidence and ability to code.
Coding is the new literacy. It is on the school curriculum in the UK from the age of 5 because it is important that every child is digitally literate in order to thrive and succeed in an increasingly digital world.
MAMA.codes was founded by Liane Katz, Luci Hindmarsh & Alice Thompson – three London mothers with digital backgrounds on a mission to promote digital literacy in young children.
MAMA.codes run creative code clubs for children aged 3-8 years old by introducing coding through song, rhyme and storytelling using ScratchJr. Through following the creative coding projects, children of all backgrounds and learning styles are able to learn to code creatively with confidence.
