Dolphin School

09/09/2011

If you want to send your little ones to an independent school in Clapham, Dolphin School offers something a little bit different for parents and children.

It one of Clapham’s fee-paying, co-educational, independent schools and it’s a popular choice.

Ofsted says Dolphin delivers outstanding personal development, but it also has a great academic record in terms of children successfully passing entrance exams to the school of their choice.

Parents speak very highly of the school, which helps children value themselves and their own gifts as well as those of others. The school has a Christian ethos and seeks to unlock each child’s full and unique potential.

There’s a strong emphasis on love and encouragement rather than pushing and pressurising children, so if you’re scared off by schools with a more hard-lined approach, this might sound more appealing.

Parents are also heavily involved with their children’s education. The school says it’s a partnership, with you and them on the same team.

Children are given small portions of homework from Monday to Thursday and the weekend is usually left for rest and family time.
