One O’Clock: Clapham

The Clapham Common One O’Clock Club on Windmill Drive is a perfect place to spend a few hours with your little ones. The club provides excellent Stay and Play sessions, offering the opportunity to meet and talk with other parents and carers.

There are organised activities like painting and story-time, with friendly and helpful staff on hand to keep you and your little one occupied. A secured outdoor area is brilliant in fine weather, with a sturdy wooden slide and climbing frame, cars, trikes and balls among the toys on offer.

With so many toys and other children to play with, taking a trip to a One O’Clock Club really does seem to lighten the load — and give you both a relaxed and friendly place to pass the afternoon.

All the One O’Clock Centres are purpose-built for newborns to five-year-olds, with secure outside areas and safer surfacing. Unsurprisingly, the Centre opens at 1pm (though do watch out! Some of the other One O’Clock Centres in the borough open at 1.30pm!) and is open until 4pm every Monday to Thursday.

And you may be pleased to hear that the One O’Clock Centre is absolutely free to use. That’s no cost for 12 hours of supervised and safe play for you and your baby every week.

Family support services are available at all sessions, as is information about Children’s Centre services.
