Great Minds tutors have a wide range of expertise and are passionate about making learning enjoyable and building confidence. From Jack who brings Shakespeare to life through his acting, Louisa our multilingual wizard or Alice who brings numbers to life, they all tailor tuition according to the specific needs of the child. The tutors support the work of classroom teachers by reinforcing what is taught at school and offering the chance to revisit areas of difficulty at the child’s own pace.
Great Minds Tuition wants to re-ignite the naturally inquisitive mind and, by fostering a nurturing environment, remove the fears of reprimand and humiliation. It also encourages pupils to talk about their concerns and work together with their tutor to find solutions.
Great Minds Tuition works mostly with children aged from 7 to 17 who need general learning support, specific subject assistance or short-term help with exams (7+ to A levels), interviews (for both school and Oxbridge entry).
The sessions can either be one-to-one or for groups of children of a similar standard. The lessons are most often held in the pupil’s own home.
