Common Event Playgroup

The Common Event Playgroup, for toddlers between 9 months and 3 years old, is held every Tuesday at the Contact Centre on Hambalt Road, Clapham.

The comfortable, carpeted upstairs room at the centre is big enough for up to 20 youngsters and their parents and carers. It’s a safe environment where the little ones can play with toys, have a go on the slide and see-saw, or try their hand at a bit of painting, whilst the grown ups get together over tea and biscuits (all included in the £3 per session fee). The little ones get their own healthy snack mid-session.

The play sessions run from 10am till 12 noon and can be booked for £30 a term, or £3 a week. It’s best to phone ahead and check for spaces if you fancy just dropping by. The playgroup is run by Sally and you can contact her on 0207 720 5598.

The Contact Centre is located just around the corner from the Church of the Holy Spirit on Narbonne Avenue in Clapham. Although it takes place in the church hall, the playgroup is run independently by Sally and is not affiliated to the church.
